Intelligent Cloud (ic24.io) Owner and CEO Virgil Simms accepted the 2026 Zscaler Public Sector Zero Trust Champion award on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration "FAA Connect" team at the 2026 Zscaler Public Sector Summit. Intelligent Cloud LLC was pleased to be able to accept the award on behalf of the FAA Connect team who accomplished an incredible feat in April & May of calendar year 2025, scaling a fifty-user pilot deployment of Zscaler for Government Users to a fifty-five thousand-user deployment in the FAA's Zscaler FedRAMP High cloud boundary. Intelligent Cloud's CEO Virgil Simms was able to partner with the FAA CIO and CISO executive sponsors, along federal employee representatives from across the FAA IT organization who make up the FAA Connect team, to rapidly execute the implementation and rollout of Zscaler services across the FAA Enterprise. Together they replaced an outdated legacy VPN solution, saving countless manpower hours and taxpayer dollars, enhancing the FAA's Zero-Trust posture in the process. The Intelligent Cloud (ic24.io) team were recently awarded a one-year implementation services contract to support further expansion and support of the FAA Connect effort.
